“One of a kind customer service. Took my Jeep in when the air conditioning broke. They took care of me like as if we had been friends for years even though it was my first time visiting. They saved me a ton of money because they are honest caring people and they care about about doing what is right. They are super busy all the time, but they will never make you feel like a number, you won't feel like you slipped between the cracks, they treated me like one of their own and they are busy because they are honest, visit this business and you will see nothing but smiling, happy repeat customers. Like being part of an exclusive informed club. Thank you for fixing my air conditioning during this record breaking heat wave, at a price that was unbelievable (low, fair.)”
Our Infinity needed front wheel bearings. We called around and this company had the best price. We brought the car in and they tested it extensive on the road then said that in order to be sure, they would have to pull the wheels. We made an appointment and meanwhile they ordered the parts in case they were needed. They were. The work was done promptly and for the agreed upon price. During the repair they damaged some wheel sensors which they replaced at their expense. Very pleased with these folks.
Eight Flags does all repairs but are classic car specialists. I plan to bring my 1968 Mustang to them in the future.
I highly recommend this shop. Great people that do very good work at a fair and reasonable price. From a routine service to extensive work they have you covered. I've had multiple vehicles at this shop and I have always felt extremely pleased with their service. Five stars!
Wonderful people to deal with, deliver on what they promise, timely and often less than the original estimate. Highly recommend.
If you are anywhere close to Yulee or Fernandina, Eight Flags is where you need to go to get work done. They're fast, extremely friendly, and prices are extremely reasonable. Honestly I won't go anywhere else anymore to get work done.
We had an emissions problem with our Volvo XC90. Took it to the dealer and they installed a new leak detection pump. Fifty miles later the problem returned. I took the car to Eight Flags Autosports, and within a day, Alan and team found a broken vacuum hose after doing a thorough smoke test. The problem was resolved for half what the dealer charged me.
These guys are terrific, knowledgeable and honest. We are new to the area and could have been easily taken. After only a few meetings, we feel like we have known Alan and Lyn for years. Not many mechanics on the island service Volvos. We have two Volvos and will use Eight Flags Autosports forever.
They are fair, reasonably priced and are great with their customers. Highly recommend.
This is defiantly a 5 star shop. Owners are dependable , quick and friendly. And I will recommend to anyone who needs s great repair shop... And the puppy dog there is adorable too!
Al is a knowledgeable master mechanic who pays attention to every detail to ensure that your vehicle is running top notch. We trust him with the trickiest of repairs and know we will get a fair price for the services he offers. He is a perfectionist in the most complimentary of ways
I was thrilled to find this business last month. I have a shinny new Mazda Miata 2016 --bright red metallic. I really did not want to hike over to Jacksonville (the nearest dealer)-- and as a female who has finally mastered how to get gas in the car I wanted reliable nearby place to go.
Lynne, one of of two co-owners was just wonderful. At last I was able to talk to a woman who not only talked a good talk but had also been a driver.
The Miata and I have found a place for good service -we are both pleased.
I;ve been here on Amelia island since 2001, and have struggled all along to find quality mechanics who I could trust to work on my 1997 Saab 9000 Aero. They recently replaced the radiator in my car and easily diagnosed and fixed an engine miss under load. They really know their stuff, are fairly priced, and aim to please. Very highly recommend.
Just purchased a 1996 BMW 328I, Had the folks at Eight Flags, Service it and totally check it out, They found Issues, Repaired them. Very knowledgeable, and professional. Thank You , You have a Customer
All this time I thought Eight Flags only worked on classics. I stopped in to inquire about an oldie I have, but wound up asking about an issue I have with one of my newer vehicles. I had brought it in to two other places nearby for work, and one diagnosed the issue but was just so slow communicating and or committing to do the work that I finally had to pick it up and the other out and out lied to me about what it needed. Not only did Eight Flags give me a reasonable cost to repair but they also informed me it's not a totally necessary repair. Imagine that...HONESTY AND INTEGRITY from an auto repair shop! Not only will I be bringing all of my vehicles in for any necessary (or unnecessary; ) repairs, but I will be spreading the good word. It's also really fun to check out the cool, rare beauties they have out front.
These guys are fantastic! I am new to the island and had a problem with my MB's air conditioning. Took it to another place on the island and was told problem was cured with a simple AC service and recharge. Unfortunately, this was not the case. AC again quit working a few months later. Unfortunately, by this time, the car was a few months out of warranty! On the advice of my neighbor whose hobby is racing cars, I took the car to Eight Flags. Al diagnosed the problem as a compressor issue and Lynn worked the phones to try to get MB to cover the repairs. Seriously, this shop worked to get my car covered instead of charging me for the repair. They armed me with the info needed to do battle with MB and the dealer and I finally did get the expensive repair covered. In summary, not only did this shop find the "real" problem, the owners then worked to get repairs covered under warranty instead of just fixing the car and charging me. Not only do these guys know cars, they are top notch people, truly doing "the right thing" for the owner. I will never go anywhere else.
This shop recently moved into a larger, more well equipped location on 8th Street. They are efficient, do a great job and they keep the location clean. It's well lit and I feel the price they charged for our service was reasonable. I would recommend them without reservations
Nickie Grant Sutton - Rave! I took my convertible to Infinity dealer in Jax because the top would not go down. $200 and wanted to charge me another $200 to try and figure out issue. and $4k recommendations in maintenance. No One in the area worked on them, a place I took it to said they might. They had it ONE day! $136 and my roof works! Lifesavers! quick, resolved my issue, excellent customer service and economical to boot! My first choice from here on out for any of my 4 vehicles!
Kris Carey - My MINI now runs better than when it was new! Price and time-to-repair was very reasonable, too. Thanks!
David Mundt - This shop does everything right! The owner lives, breathes and dreams about everything automotive! (I think he drinks motor oil instead of coffee). Priced right and done right the first time! This is the BEST find in auto repair and service around!
Jenifer Koen - Highly recommend this facility! They went above and beyond to fix my Jeep Wrangler. Thank you Al and Lynn!!
Charmaine Lively -These guys are great, and took the time to listen to what I needed done on my vehicle. I definitely recommend them to anyone that needs work done right and at a reasonable price.
Tim Gustafson - Great service, customer service and communication! Old school garage feel where you know they'll take good care of you. I'll be bringing my BMW to them more often.
Steve Shap - Great people who CARE about customers and their needs. And they are "car guys and gals" who like what they do. A real treat right here in Fernandina Beach!
Vinny Schweit - This place is a Gem! My car died and they were closing, but helped me instead. They’re genuine and great people here. I wish more businesses and people in general cared like they do! I greatly appreciate them and I would strongly recommend them! Thank you.
Renee Pitts - Al and Lynne are great to work with and go into great detail concerning your auto needs. For those of us that have autos with a little age eight flags auto can fix it!
Kenny Young - Great people. Professional, courteous, and HONEST. Thank you, Al and Lynne, for taking care of my 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
Tanner Garrard - Excellent (and more importantly) honest service. I have found my new mechanic. A business like this is an absolute must when you drive an older or newer vehicle.
Bob Gay - Competent and reliable people who know their business. They do it right the first time.
Carrie Pennington Safarriyeh - Just stopped at this great new repair shop because I had a nail in my tire. Nice guy there fixed my tire right away for no charge! Said enjoy my trip. Love being at Amelia Island! Nice people and sunshine!
